About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain integrity of computer workstations and associated software
  • Act as main point of contact for employee computer issues
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and planning for desktop infrastructure
  • Resolve software, hardware, and device issues reported by end users
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software
  • Support standard technologies including Exchange and Active Directory
  • Troubleshoot PC connectivity, ISP circuits, firewalls, switches, and wireless equipment
  • Implement and support VPN remote access solutions
  • Document local client environments and escalate service issues
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and latency
  • Oversee asset maintenance and tracking
  • Participate in Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery testing
  • Advise and train staff on computer operations and software

Requirements

  • Experience in 1st and 2nd level IT Service Desk or Desktop Support
  • Strong understanding of Information Technology trends, products, and solutions
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ITIL certification is an advantage
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Ability to provide a recent criminal record extract
