IT On-Site Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT incidents and requests at the main office and during regional site visits
• Identify, document, and recommend corrective measures for recurring technical problems
• Collaborate with server, network, and security administrators to resolve complex incidents and maintain infrastructure
• Partner with office managers to understand and address local IT challenges
• Participate in office deployment, relocation, and renovation projects
• Monitor and resolve issues related to shared IT services including audio/video, printers, Wi-Fi, and cabling
• Maintain rigorous IT asset inventory within the CMDB
• Assist with computer performance testing, documentation, and workstation preparation

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 5 years of relevant IT experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a level 2 support technician
• Clear oral and written communication skills
• Strong priority management and ability to manage customer expectations
• A strong desire to serve users and a curiosity toward information technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in computer science or a related discipline
• A+, Network+, or Help Desk Institute certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and common office software
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
