IT On-Site Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT incidents and requests at the main office and regional locations.
• Identify and document recurring problems and recommend corrective measures.
• Collaborate with server, network, and security administrators to resolve complex incidents and maintain infrastructure.
• Develop relationships with office managers to understand and address local IT challenges.
• Participate in office deployment, relocation, and renovation projects.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to shared IT services including audio/video, printers, Wi-Fi, and cabling.
• Maintain rigorous IT asset inventory within the CMDB.
• Assist with computer workstation preparation, performance testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Level 2 support technician.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and customer expectations.
• Strong desire to serve users and a curiosity for information technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in computer science or a related discipline.
• A+, Network+, or Help Desk Institute certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and common office software.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
