IT Office Support Engineer

About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their HMND‑01 Alpha platform is already running in real industrial pilots.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for the Boston office, providing L1/L2 support for engineers and developers
• Prepare, configure, and enroll Windows, macOS, and Linux (Ubuntu) endpoints
• Lead the local rollout of JumpCloud MDM, including policy configuration and compliance
• Manage IT hardware procurement and maintain accurate asset records in Jira Assets
• Maintain and troubleshoot AV and meeting room equipment for Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams
• Perform basic networking tasks including patching, VLAN assignment, and port testing
• Document common procedures and knowledge articles to support a scaling IT function

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or office-based technical support (L1/L2)
• Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux (Ubuntu) endpoints
• Solid understanding of MDM/EMM platforms (e.g., Jamf, Intune, JumpCloud)
• Basic networking knowledge including switch ports, VLANs, and cabling
• Proficiency with ticketing and ITSM platforms like Jira Service Management
• Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace administration
• Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
• Familiarity with lab or engineering environments
• Exposure to security observability tooling
• Experience supporting specialist engineering software like CAD or firmware toolchains
