IT Network Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Deliver global network infrastructure and software to support Launch and Space System capabilities
• Provide advice and guidance for highly reliable and available IT network infrastructure
• Lead upgrades, maintenance, and continuous improvement of secure network infrastructure
• Implement IT Infrastructure Standards to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and automated build processes
• Establish WAN and LAN networking standards
• Manage system high availability and disaster recovery

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a network-focused technology role
• In-depth knowledge of Juniper network switching configuration and management
• Knowledge of WAN, SD-WAN, routing, IPSEC, and SSL VPNs
• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Fortinet firewall configuration and management
• Familiarity with Cisco network switching configuration and management
• Experience with Configuration Management, Automation, or Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST 800-171
