IT Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security technologies and services across data centers, offices, and edge environments.
• Operate and maintain network security appliances including Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper platforms.
• Build and manage network security infrastructure using DevOps practices and automation tools to drive operational efficiency.
• Support security operations including monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and patching.
• Research industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the enterprise network security posture.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to support global IT services.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network security.
• Proficiency with network security platforms such as Cisco ASA/FTD, FortiGate, or Juniper SRX.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, the OSI model, routing, switching, and ACLs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an IT-related field.
• Experience with automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, CISSP, or GIAC.
• Experience with cloud network security services in AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and REST APIs.
• Experience working within industrial control system (ICS) environments.
