IT Manager

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer vendor, outsource, and consultant contracts and service agreements
• Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending
• Oversee end-user services, including help desk and technical support
• Provide day-to-day support for local office and remote users, including LAN, hardware, and software upgrades
• Manage deployment and troubleshooting for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices
• Support Office 365, Gsuite, Zoom, VPN, Confluence, Jira, and Gitlab
• Maintain IT infrastructure including servers, SAN/NAS, switches, and firewalls
• Manage IT staffing, recruitment, and professional development
• Maintain detailed hardware/software inventory and licenses

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• At least 5 years of related work experience
• 3+ years supporting mixed fleets of MacOS, Ubuntu, and Windows
• Experience with MDM software (SimpleMDM, Fleetsmith, Intune, or similar)
• Experience with configuration management (Munki, Ansible, Puppet, or similar)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Influx, Prometheus)
• Proficiency with Ubuntu Desktop/Server, Windows Server, VMware ESXi, KVM, and Docker
• L2/L3 networking experience with Cisco, Aruba, or Sonicwall
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

Preferred Qualifications

• MCSA certifications
