About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the IT team in the Philippines, overseeing Wafer Automation, Metrology, and Probe development.
- Act as the primary liaison to the US-based Wafer IT MFG team to ensure consistent solution architecture.
- Manage employee performance, work priorities, and career development roadmaps.
- Foster a culture of digital transformation and optimize application delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with IT change processes and corporate security standards within the manufacturing domain.
- Manage and prioritize a portfolio of automation IT projects and provide meaningful KPI metrics for business decisions.
- Maintain a constant on-site presence at the Philippines factory site to support operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven management experience within an IT function.
- Extensive experience in IT architecture design and implementation, specifically in automation and manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols such as Secs Gem, Modbus, or OPC UA.
- Solid DevOps background with experience managing large-scale development projects.
- Manufacturing background including hands-on experience with MES and manufacturing workflow technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++.
- Ability to work on-site in Biñan City, Laguna, on a day shift schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Experience in the electronics or semiconductor manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and IoT integration.
