IT Manager, Programming

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the IT team in the Philippines, overseeing Wafer Automation, Metrology, and Probe development.
• Act as the primary liaison to the US-based Wafer IT MFG team to ensure consistent solution architecture.
• Manage employee performance, work priorities, and career development roadmaps.
• Foster a culture of digital transformation and optimize application delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with IT change processes and corporate security standards within the manufacturing domain.
• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of automation IT projects and provide meaningful KPI metrics for business decisions.
• Maintain a constant on-site presence at the Philippines factory site to support operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven management experience within an IT function.
• Extensive experience in IT architecture design and implementation, specifically in automation and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols such as Secs Gem, Modbus, or OPC UA.
• Solid DevOps background with experience managing large-scale development projects.
• Manufacturing background including hands-on experience with MES and manufacturing workflow technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++.
• Ability to work on-site in Biñan City, Laguna, on a day shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Experience in the electronics or semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and IoT integration.
