IT Manager - Manufacturing and Distribution

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead the M&D IT development and support teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth
• Manage team capacity through strategic recruitment, onboarding, and professional development plans
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of IT projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards
• Direct the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for custom application suites, balancing agile speed with formal change management
• Partner with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs, manage technical debt, and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Own the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and production validation to ensure seamless go-live events
• Act as a bridge between IT and Operations, translating technical concepts into actionable business strategies
• Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement proactive monitoring to prevent future issues
• Identify enterprise bottlenecks and execute improvements across warehouse workflows and performance applications

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of direct people leadership experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience
• BS/BA Degree preferred (MS or MBA is a significant plus)
• Proficiency across the full stack (JavaScript, .NET, Python, SQL)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to align executives and warehouse associates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Manufacturing or Distribution environments
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
