IT Manager (End User Support)

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor desktop support engineers, including performance reviews and training programs.
• Oversee end-user support services, ensuring effective resource planning and shift management.
• Coordinate IT tech refresh activities and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, inventory, deployment, and retirement.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely account creation and secure asset return.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Infrastructure, HR, and Facilities to ensure a compliant environment.
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement and support contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in desktop support or End User Computing (EUC).
• 3–5 years of experience in a team management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
