IT Manager – Data Operations and Platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of data products on enterprise platforms such as Azure Synapse, MS Purview, Power BI, Databricks, and Cognite.
• Translate business priorities into scalable platform capabilities for advanced analytics, reporting, and AI/ML solutions.
• Oversee the design and implementation of RPA and Agentic AI solutions to automate business processes.
• Manage cloud-based Data Operations and Contextualization platforms, utilizing knowledge graph databases to unify industrial data.
• Direct the deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models using DevOps and MLOps frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, AI/ML engineers, Data Scientists, and RPA developers.
• Establish processes for monitoring, cost optimization, reliability, and incident management for data pipelines.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of IT professionals, including recruitment, performance management, and professional development.
• Partner with leadership to develop business cases for technology initiatives and manage the department budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of diversified IT experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading professional staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Deep understanding of data management challenges in industrial or energy sectors.
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML and RPA solutions into business operations.
