IT Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall Information Technology Department, including staff leadership, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring systems, networks, and infrastructure function smoothly.
• Ensure full compliance with cybersecurity, operational, and administrative directives (DoD, DoN, and PMRF).
• Lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Platform IT (PIT) Certifications & Accreditation (C&A) processes.
• Manage departmental budgeting, cost accounting, forecasting, and IT expenditures.
• Serve as the primary interface between the IT department, Government stakeholders, and Senior Program Management.
• Maintain physical and inventory control of all assigned IT assets and Government-furnished equipment (GFE).
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure secure and auditable operations.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience managing IT systems and personnel.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level III (or DoD 8140 Advanced) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Strong leadership, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Green Belt Certification.
