IT Lead, Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Lead application security audits and ensure the efficient execution of the approved Audit Plan.
• Conduct comprehensive security audits and penetration testing across applications, infrastructure, databases, and cloud environments.
• Execute end-to-end audits including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Collaborate with auditees to agree on remedial action plans and review audit outcomes.
• Leverage data analytics and automation to enhance audit efficiency and quality.
• Perform annual and ongoing risk assessments focused on Applications, Information, and Cyber Security.
• Stay informed on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to refine internal audit processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technology audits, including web applications.
• Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, NMAP, and Nessus.
• Exposure to Python programming and awareness of generative AI technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and best practices for cloud penetration testing.
• Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and application security configurations.
• Excellent report writing, negotiation, and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a Big 4 firm.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, or Red Team equivalent.
