IT Intern

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support to internal users both on-site and remotely
• Assist in resolving hardware, software, and connectivity incidents under supervision
• Prepare, install, and configure computers, notebooks, printers, and other peripherals
• Support the installation and updating of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Collaborate on basic support for LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections
• Register, update, and follow up on tickets using service management tools
• Maintain accurate documentation of all attended requests
• Participate in equipment deployments and technological renewals

Requirements

• Student or graduate in IT, Systems, Networks, or related fields
• Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Knowledge of macOS (desirable)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
• Familiarity with ticket management tools
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts (antivirus, backups, and best practices)
• Ability to work on-site in Peru

Preferred Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience in technical support or help desk roles
• Strong organizational and responsibility skills
• Proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
• Clear and effective communication skills
