IT Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist the DevOps team with day-to-day platform engineering and cloud support tasks
• Help maintain automation workflows using tools like GitLab CI/CD and Terraform
• Support scripting and automation tasks using Python, Shell, or PowerShell
• Assist with AWS operational activities, including configuration reviews and validation checks
• Contribute to technical documentation, such as setup guides, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
• Support repository organization and configuration updates in Git-based workflows
• Explore practical uses of AI tools to improve engineering productivity and documentation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software development, cloud, or DevOps concepts
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python, Shell/Bash, or PowerShell)
• Basic knowledge of Git or version control concepts
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms through coursework or personal projects
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Basic awareness of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line basics
• Experience using AI tools for technical problem-solving or scripting assistance
