IT Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide survey, installation, and configuration assistance for Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems
• Perform antenna and bracket assembly and installation above drop-ceilings
• Pull and terminate ethernet cables and perform fiber optic cable installation/termination
• Transport equipment between buildings as required
• Execute all tasks in accordance with applicable safety standards
• Work in various environments including data centers and office spaces during business or after-business hours

Requirements

• Prior experience with current IT installation procedures and methods
• Working knowledge of signal flow and low-voltage power systems
• Ability to climb ladders (up to 10 feet) and operate scissor lifts
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry up to 50lbs
• High School diploma or GED
• Willingness to travel both domestically (CONUS) and internationally (OCONUS)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
