About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide survey, installation, and configuration assistance for Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems
- Perform antenna and bracket assembly and installation above drop-ceilings
- Pull and terminate ethernet cables and perform fiber optic cable installation/termination
- Transport equipment between buildings as required
- Execute all tasks in accordance with company safety standards
- Work in various environments including data centers and office spaces during business or after-hours
Requirements
- Prior experience with IT installation procedures and methods
- Working knowledge of signal flow and low-voltage power systems
- Ability to climb ladders (up to 10 feet) and operate scissor lifts
- Ability to stand for long periods and carry up to 50lbs
- High School diploma or GED
- Willingness to travel both domestically (CONUS) and internationally (OCONUS)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
