IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure, including structured cabling, ELV systems, and network hardware installations.
• Collaborate with construction and MEP teams to define MDF/IDF room requirements, including layout, cooling, and power needs.
• Design passive IT infrastructure and coordinate with network engineers on Wi-Fi and network design.
• Manage project lifecycles by preparing proposals, RFPs, estimates, and detailed schedules.
• Monitor installation quality and progress, conducting field inspections to ensure adherence to technical standards.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including design modifications, change orders, and close-out packages.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding project milestones, risks, and issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, data centers, or technology-related construction.
• Proven experience in network infrastructure deployment, including structured cabling and ELV systems.
• Expertise in MDF/IDF build-outs and knowledge of server room requirements (power, cooling, racks).
• Hands-on understanding of network hardware installation (switches, racks, patch panels).
• Basic knowledge of Cisco or Juniper CLI.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, RCDD, or CNET certifications.
• Experience collaborating specifically with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) teams in a construction environment.
