IT Infrastructure Planning Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning across multiple technology domains including compute, storage, client, network, and physical cable management
• Create and maintain Technology Architecture documentation
• Integrate manufacturing technology solutions into cybersecurity strategy
• Create Infrastructure and Hardware Lifecycle Plans
• Assess requirements and deliver solutions for production business needs
• Work with production stakeholders to determine performance levels and risks
• Manage and track technology portfolios to ensure operational readiness
• Identify, prototype, and test automated solutions for business process improvement
• Deliver line side technology solutions in coordination with planning and automation teams
• Act as a subject matter expert for production system architecture
• Lead early project phases including scoping and requirement gathering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred
• 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing facilities
• Success in delivering complex technology solutions under tight timelines
• Strong project management and task breakdown skills
• Ability to present technical decision papers to upper management
• Broad knowledge of logical and physical technology domains
• Working knowledge of ITIL Service Design, Transition, and Operations
• Deep understanding of system integration between hardware and software
• Experience deploying solutions in 24/7 production environments
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
