IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term IT infrastructure roadmaps and strategic planning.
• Identify infrastructure improvement tasks and design configurations from a Digital Transformation (DT) perspective.
• Plan and execute cloud transition strategies (On-Premise to Hybrid/Cloud).
• Operate and maintain Windows and Linux server OS.
• Manage virtualization (VMware, etc.) and cloud infrastructure.
• Establish backup policies, operate recovery systems, and conduct recovery drills.
• Monitor system performance, manage capacity, and operate server rooms.
• Respond to server and network failures, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Utilize automation tools (scripts) to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 3 to 14 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center or server room operations.
• Hands-on experience operating Windows and Linux server OS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Major in Computer Science, Information and Communication, or related fields.
• Experience in the shipbuilding, plant, or heavy industry sectors.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning or cloud transition projects.
• Strong English language proficiency and excellent technical documentation skills.
• Residents of nearby areas (Goseong, Changwon, Tongyeong, Geoje, Jinju).
