About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define the global IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and technical specifications
  • Manage the full lifecycle of all physical and virtual IT assets, including computers, mobile devices, and industrial equipment
  • Design and configure network topology, managing ISP contracts, VPNs, NAC, and firewalls
  • Oversee server hosting, hardware management, and network storage solutions
  • Implement and test robust backup and restore procedures
  • Manage virtualization environments, including VDI and virtual desktops
  • Serve as the deputy for the Director of Digital Operations, supporting strategic planning and IT/IS roadmaps
  • Oversee operational governance, including budget planning, resource allocation, and vendor management
  • Supervise Helpdesk operations, incident management, and the tracking of KPIs and SLAs
  • Ensure business continuity through the management of BCP and DRP plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and senior leadership roles
  • Strong technical knowledge of network topology, server administration (Windows/Linux), and virtualization
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, strategic roadmaps, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Experience with SQL, Linux, Windows, and web services
  • Knowledge of application deployment on virtualized or cloud infrastructures (e.g., VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks
  • Proficiency in French or German
  • Knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard
  • Basic knowledge of web languages such as PHP or Python and scripting
