IT Infrastructure Intern

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and operational issues via help desk channels.
• Assist with help desk operations, including problem identification and detailed documentation of service requests.
• Support the deployment of new laptops, workstations, and device upgrades.
• Troubleshoot networking issues including LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and remote desktop connectivity.
• Manage user accounts by creating, modifying, and removing Active Directory and Office 365 accounts.
• Contribute to Infrastructure team projects and assist in creating system documentation and inventory.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Year-round availability (including summer availability up to 40 hours/week).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 operating systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building computers and installing operating systems.
• Experience working with desktop operating systems.
• A proactive approach to seeking solutions independently.
