IT Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy standard group infrastructure within plants, covering data centers, workstations, telecommunications, and security
• Support R&D technical standards and manage incidents not addressed by outsourcers
• Support and control outsourcing operations to ensure various service levels are met
• Promote innovation at the regional West Europe level
• Manage IT budgets, MTP, and invoice services according to required service levels
• Contribute to IT Investment Approval Requests (IAR) for all plants
• Guarantee the confidentiality of information across the infrastructure

Requirements

• At least 3 years of IT experience with a strong technical background
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficiency in network services including WAN, LAN, WiFi, TCP/IP, and VPN
• Experience with Active Directory (DC, GPO), DHCP, and DNS
• Hands-on experience with virtualization using HyperV
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux Server operating systems
• Experience with firewall management, specifically Fortigate
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident and problem management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with telephony and audio/video conferencing (VoIP, CUCM)
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery (DRP) procedures
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Centreon or Nagios
• Familiarity with supplier and project management
• Fluency in English and business-level spoken French
