IT Infrastructure Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT infrastructure and lead the IT Support team to ensure seamless technical operations
• Shape and deliver technical vision for scalable infrastructure enabling AI-first platforms
• Act as a thought leader and advisor for AI infrastructure and engineering operations
• Maintain servers, networks, and systems to ensure optimal performance and security
• Manage incident and request handling through the service desk
• Supervise service desk staff to ensure 24/7 operational coverage
• Implement security stack, policies, and frameworks to protect data integrity
• Manage IT inventory and oversee system upgrades and software rollouts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 15+ years in IT administration and system/user support
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• 2+ years focused on AI tool usage, adoption, and implementation
• Strong technical background in AI tool architectural implications
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, JAMF, Intune, and Active Directory
• Experience with Mac, Windows, and Linux environments
• Scripting skills in Python, Java, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and firewalls

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) and Unix-like systems
• Mastery of shell scripting (Bash, Zsh) for automation
• Working knowledge of server hardware components and physical server racks
• Experience managing business-critical applications like SQL Server, Apache, or Nginx
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA or ITIL
