IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and operate Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory Entra ID
• Manage Hyper-V, server, and storage resources
• Develop and implement agile, scalable infrastructure solutions with advanced monitoring and alerting
• Develop PowerShell scripts to drive automation and innovation initiatives
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve connection, reliability, or performance issues
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and recovery operations
• Provide after-hours on-call support and participate in deployment activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years of experience with Windows 2016-2019 Server and Microsoft Active Directory
• 2-4 years of experience managing Microsoft Azure public cloud resources
• Experience with Hyper-V or VMware virtualization environments
• Knowledge of Bare Metal Servers (ILO, IDRAC) and storage concepts
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Experience with backup tools such as CommVault
• Microsoft Certifications (e.g., former MCSE, MCST) are required

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Azure or VMware
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
• Knowledge of regulated laboratory environments (GxP, HIPAA, GDPR)
