IT Infrastructure and Data Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure strategies and architectures
• Oversee day-to-day operations of on-premise and co-located data center facilities
• Lead and mentor a global team of infrastructure engineers and support technicians
• Manage enterprise-level hardware and software, including servers, storage, and network devices
• Implement and enforce data security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
• Ensure compliance with international frameworks such as SOC Type 2, SOX, and ISO
• Support integration and management of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Develop and manage budgets related to infrastructure and data center operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer in a global enterprise environment
• 3+ years of technical or people leadership experience in a global enterprise environment
• Expertise in Windows and Linux server administration
• Expertise in VMware virtualization and automation (vCenter, vSphere, Aria Automation)
• Deep knowledge of networking, storage technologies, and server architecture
• Experience with international compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC Type 2, SOX, etc.)
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX with occasional travel to other data center locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or AWS/Azure
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation scripts
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible, Intune, or SCCM
• Experience with vulnerability management and cloud migration strategies
