About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer and support corporate network infrastructure through hands-on and remote operations
- Triage, respond to, and manage incidents related to IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and global connectivity
- Configure and support network hardware including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and UPS systems
- Plan and implement infrastructure projects such as firewall upgrades, device trust initiatives, and office buildouts
- Monitor network security, capacity, and stability while responding to alerts
- Document and diagram networks, systems, configurations, and changes
- Provide escalation support to the IT helpdesk and participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or Infrastructure Administrator
- Hands-on experience with enterprise switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
- Working knowledge of network security fundamentals, VPNs, authentication, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with incident response, operational support, and service request management
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting or automation workflows
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Juniper switching/wireless and Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with SASE or cloud-based security platforms
- Experience using IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Exposure to software development best practices, including GitHub Actions and version-controlled workflows
- Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, or JNCIA
