IT Helpdesk Technician

Responsibilities

• Build, image, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems
• Run and terminate structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A)
• Install and troubleshoot conference room AV systems (Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms)
• Set up and support peripheral equipment like monitors and docking stations
• Perform physical rack installation of networking and server equipment
• Respond to on-site IT support requests for hardware and software issues
• Coordinate with vendors and facilities for equipment deliveries and repairs
• Document completed work, cable maps, and equipment configurations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in hands-on IT support or field technician roles
• Experience building and imaging Windows PCs and Macs
• Knowledge of structured cabling standards (Cat6/Cat6A)
• Familiarity with AV systems and video conferencing platforms
• Understanding of networking basics (switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi, PoE)
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and MacOS
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Intune MDM
• Experience with Jamf MDM
