About the role
Responsibilities
- Process laptop replacement queues
- Act as first point of contact via ITSM ticketing platforms, Slack, and in-office walk-ups
- Resolve technical difficulties regarding desktop/laptop hardware and software
- Monitor and action ITHELP Jira queues
- Perform software provisioning and deprovisioning
- Manage Slack and Google Workspace administration within role constraints
- Handle laptop imaging and setup for employees
- Maintain office desk workspaces for peripheral testing and tech readiness
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
- Strong understanding of Apple operating systems and software applications
- Proficiency in corporate written and verbal communication
- Ability to work an evening shift between 3pm and 11pm
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and helpdesk software
