About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up new hire hardware and ensure appropriate systems access is available by their first day
  • Provide general helpdesk support for company systems including laptops, Google Workspace, Slack, and networked printers
  • Manage and support virtual and physical conferencing setups using Google Meet, Zoom, and MS Teams
  • Administer enterprise software, user creation, access control, and identity management
  • Maintain IT hardware inventory and manage the procurement process for tech equipment
  • Lead IT onboarding sessions for new employees to ensure a smooth technical start
  • Implement and optimize IT systems and processes with a focus on operational efficiency and data security
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee software licensing needs
  • Document IT-related activities and build internal knowledge bases and guides

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of IT helpdesk or IT support experience
  • Proficiency in supporting Google Workspace, Slack, and standard business software
  • Familiarity with conferencing tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, and MS Teams
  • Working knowledge of identity and access management best practices
  • Experience in IT hardware asset management and procurement
  • Ability to manage onboarding and offboarding processes efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience documenting IT processes and building internal help guides
  • Interest in exploring AI-powered tools (like ChatGPT or Google Gemini) to automate troubleshooting and improve IT operations
