About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support requests from restaurant locations and corporate users.
  • Log, triage, and prioritize incidents in the Zendesk ticketing system, tracking them through to resolution.
  • Perform remote diagnostics and in-person support for POS terminals, kitchen displays, back-office PCs, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Assist with hardware and software rollouts, including staging, configuring, and deploying devices.
  • Maintain and update knowledge-base articles and user guides for store teams.
  • Track and maintain inventory of IT assets and peripheral equipment across restaurant locations.
  • Collaborate with network and application teams to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of IT support or help desk experience, ideally in a restaurant, hospitality, or multi-site environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills regarding hardware, network, and software issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical motions such as bending, twisting, and reaching.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting restaurant POS systems (such as TOAST) and Kitchen Display Systems (KDS).
  • Familiarity with online ordering integrations and remote support tools.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, WiFi, VPN).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Help Desk or ITIL certification.
