About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise on systematic procedures, operations, and work instructions
- Check systems and equipment for substandard performance or malfunctions
- Fix systems and equipment problems
- Set up peripherals including laptops, desktops, and printers according to policy
- Manage backup software such as Synology and Office 365
- Monitor Wi-Fi performance and Cisco Cloud Meraki-based Access Points
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Maintain hardware and corresponding documentation of fixes and recommendations
- Monitor network security and manage routine preventive procedures
- Analyze and resolve faults and monitor network environments
- Log and follow up on issues with vendors
- Design, deploy, and improve IT service delivery processes
- Monitor and track IT assets and ensure SLA adherence
Requirements
- Deep understanding of system and storage management
- Understanding of network management
- Familiarity with ITIL and its applications
- Experience with root cause analysis and reporting
- Ability to perform vendor negotiation and monitor SLAs
- Bachelor of Computer Engineering or equivalent
