IT Help Desk Associate

About the Company

Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical assistance and support to in-person and remote end users
• Manage the support request software system (Jira) to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain IT inventory, including workstations and accessories
• Collaborate with other members of IT to complete user-facing projects
• Provide smooth and effective onboarding and offboarding for all employees and contractors
• Develop and maintain documentation and processes as the company scales

Requirements

• 1+ years in a help desk, IT associate, or similar industry position
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting Windows devices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in a help desk or IT associate role
• Experience with Office 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and/or Intune
• Experience troubleshooting macOS and Linux
