About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier 2 and 3 technical support for workstations, servers, printers, and teleconferencing equipment
- Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed technical documentation and diagrams
- Analyze hardware requirements and prepare technical specifications for procurement
- Install and configure new hardware, cabling, and network upgrade components
- Build and install specialized interconnecting cables for unique site needs
- Train site personnel on hardware use and maintenance
- Maintain fiber optic modems, multiplexers, and telephone systems
- Utilize ticketing systems for issue tracking and service management
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of relevant IT experience
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- 8570 Certification (Security+ highly preferred)
- Proficiency with Windows 7 and Windows 10
- Experience with Active Directory security and policies
- Ability to drive a company vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
