IT Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for client computing, hardware, software, and network connectivity within a manufacturing environment.
• Lead and oversee computer and hardware deployments, including setup, configuration, testing, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Respond to and resolve IT incidents, maintain accurate documentation, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Partner with cross-functional IT teams to ensure adherence to company policies and standardized processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in IT service delivery and serve as backup support for the IT Field Service Manager.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in IT field services or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency supporting Windows and macOS systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.
• Experience with printing solutions and basic network configuration.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting processes and supporting users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on enterprise IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience in IT field services.
• Experience supporting AV equipment, print services, asset management, and executive-level users.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
