IT Field Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and IT support for Members and staff in the U.S. House of Representatives
• Manage equipment lifecycles, including planning, refreshes, and security compliance
• Resolve medium-complexity technical issues involving software, hardware, and application configurations
• Implement security policies and assist with disaster planning, data loss prevention, and data recovery
• Collaborate with government departments, vendors, and stakeholders to document and meet technical requirements
• Provide expert knowledge in end-user computing and maintain regular communication with management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of relevant IT experience
• Strong knowledge of end-user computing technologies, including Windows PC, Apple, and Mobile platforms
• Proficiency with Active Directory and account/access management
• US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with various stakeholder levels

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supporting customer needs on Capitol Hill
• Experience teaching or mentoring entry-level technical support professionals
