IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality field service support by diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage service tickets, work orders, and system records to provide visibility on equipment status and resolution progress.
• Monitor personal service metrics, including response times and resolution quality, to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure all field activities comply with internal security policies, data protection regulations, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless end-to-end resolution of customer issues.
• Maintain high productivity by effectively managing time, travel, and workload across multiple customer sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT field service or technical support environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows desktop and server environments.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Windows Client, Azure Fundamentals, or Modern Desktop Administrator).
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using field service management tools and service desk platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workloads according to SLAs.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for root cause analysis.
