IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect Okta identity lifecycle using group rules, SCIM, and Expression Language to automate access.
• Own the endpoint fleet management from zero-touch provisioning through offboarding using MDM.
• Build AI-powered self-service workflows, such as Claude Enterprise, to deflect manual support requests.
• Automate recurring IT workflows into scripted, audit-logged processes.
• Maintain SOC2 and HIPAA compliance by owning access reviews and deprovisioning evidence.
• Partner with People and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven productivity gains.
• Document all systems and processes in Slite to maintain a single source of truth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, identity management, or endpoint systems.
• Hands-on experience with Okta (group rules, SCIM, or Expression Language).
• Experience with MDM policy and the macOS endpoint lifecycle.
• Familiarity with SOC2, HIPAA, or similar compliance frameworks and least-privilege controls.
• Proven ability to use AI to automate repeatable workflows and manual tasks.
• Ability to work in-person at our NYC headquarters 5 days per week.

• Experience building and implementing AI-first solutions to solve operational problems.
• Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in Security, Engineering, and People teams.
• A "builder" mindset focused on creating scalable infrastructure rather than just maintaining it.
