About the role
Responsibilities
- Resolve escalated technical issues from Tier 1 support regarding hardware, software, and network configurations
- Perform installations and configurations for software, hardware updates, and security patches
- Set up and deploy new user workstations and accounts while maintaining accurate configuration records
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and communication systems to ensure reliable access
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, workstations, and troubleshooting processes
- Provide training and documentation to end users on new systems and security best practices
- Ensure all workstations and systems comply with organizational security standards and conduct periodic audits
- Manage and document the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware and software
- Maintain conference room and collaboration systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Proficiency in IT troubleshooting, software/hardware configuration, and network support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for user interaction and process documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage small projects and meet deadlines
