IT & Digital Transformation Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT department and drive the organization's digital transformation roadmap, focusing on ERP integration and operational stability.
• Align technology investments with institutional strategy and manage the overall technology budget.
• Spearhead the modernization of IT operations by defining and codifying standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage and coordinate external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners to ensure project delivery.
• Lead and mentor a small internal team, setting clear goals and KPIs to foster professional growth.
• Ensure the stability and security of digital infrastructure, including ERP, CRM, CMS, and ticketing systems.
• Implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies and data stewardship practices.
• Identify opportunities to use data and emerging technologies to enhance the cultural experience and drive revenue.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in IT operations and digital transformation.
• Proven experience managing ERP integration projects.
• Strong background in IT operations management and leading internal teams.
• Experience in vendor management and delivering complex projects within budget and scope.
• Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Full professional proficiency in both Greek and English.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the cultural, heritage, non-profit, or public sectors.
• Familiarity with digital preservation and data science/audience analytics.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, or AR/VR.
• Additional certifications such as ITIL, TOGAF, or CISSP.
