IT Data Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Command Center and Data Center operations, including physical access control, infrastructure monitoring, and server management.
• Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance for critical infrastructure, including UPS systems, ATS equipment, generators, and cooling systems.
• Ensure the operational continuity, physical security, and reliability of all Data Center and Server Room infrastructure across Tenaris USA.
• Coordinate immediate corrective actions for infrastructure incidents and participate in crisis management during outages.
• Manage infrastructure projects (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX) related to Data Center operations.
• Manage contracts, vendors, service providers, and inventory to support facility needs.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

• Experience managing mission-critical Data Center environments and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (UPS, ATS, generators) and mechanical systems (cooling, access control).
• Understanding of networking protocols supporting Data Center and IT operations.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Experience in vendor and contract management.
• Ability to travel nationally and support after-hours/on-call operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Advanced knowledge of PLCs, signals, and RFID technologies.
• Proven people management and teamwork skills.
• Strong decision-making capabilities under pressure and professional crisis management experience.
