IT Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the cybersecurity risk management framework and methodology
• Conduct regular cybersecurity risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across systems, applications, and infrastructure
• Define and track key risk indicators and metrics to communicate risk exposure effectively
• Monitor and evaluate emerging IT risks, including cybersecurity threats and compliance issues
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards including ISF SoGP, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF
• Design and document processes to strengthen the security services portfolio
• Support the delivery of security awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns
• Collaborate with the Cyber Security Operations team on ongoing projects and daily tasks
• Proactively research the latest cybersecurity technologies, trends, and threat landscapes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in IT risk management or information security consulting
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security
• Working knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and ISF SoGP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at a senior management level
• Proactive, curious, and investigative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
• Additional language skills
