About the role
Responsibilities
- Function as part of the Administrative Services Information Systems (ASIS) Customer Service team to support the Division of Student Affairs.
- Troubleshoot technology needs and manage endpoint devices for staff serving students statewide.
- Consult with customers to identify technology requirements and recommend effective solutions based on established technical standards.
- Perform problem-solving and troubleshooting tasks under close supervision.
- Escalate complex issues or requests that exceed the defined scope of work to the appropriate level of authority.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of functional progressive work experience supporting customers and endpoint devices in a professional setting, or relevant education (up to four years of education may be substituted for years of experience).
- Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain one by time of hire) and ability to meet departmental driving standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with managing endpoints using tools such as SCCM, MDT, InTune, or other endpoint management software.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Experience providing technical support to remote users and endpoints.
- Experience utilizing an online help desk ticketing system.
