About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting for IT customers
- Provision endpoints including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Manage imaging, desktop support, adds, moves, and changes
- Install OS patches, upgrades, and COTS software
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues using ServiceNow
- Utilize SCOM tools to troubleshoot performance and deploy software packages
- Perform inventory management, asset tracking, and media sanitization
- Conduct routine audits of systems and software for compliance and adequacy
- Physically move and install IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED with 8+ years of system administration experience, or a BS in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience troubleshooting high-volume/high-availability systems and networks
- Knowledge of debugging protocols and processes
- Experience with routine system administration tasks and logging data
- Ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation including fingerprinting
- Must possess a valid RealID or active Passport
