IT Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for the design, implementation, and governance of Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to drive PAM adoption and roadmap execution.
• Lead the implementation of PAM architecture and integrate controls into cloud-native and DevOps workflows using infrastructure-as-code.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for credential security, least-privilege access, session management, and identity governance.
• Conduct privileged access risk assessments and oversee the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Participate in incident response activities and monitor PAM systems for suspicious activities.
• Provide technical mentorship to IAM engineers and establish operational best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Proficiency in deploying and configuring PAM solutions such as Delinea Thycotic, Centrify, or CyberArk.
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM features, including roles, policies, groups, and CloudFormation templates.
• Understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS and their interaction with IAM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
