IT Consultant Purchasing Applications

Responsibilities

• Support IT implementation projects and lead workstreams within the purchasing IT area
• Plan, execute, and deliver project work packages ensuring high quality within scope, budget, and time
• Develop communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and issues
• Contribute process and IT expertise to ensure robust functional and technical designs
• Support the digital transformation of purchasing processes
• Act as IT service owner for purchasing IT services
• Ensure compliance with established IT standards and rules
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and external development partners

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Economics, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in IT, specifically with SAP or Non-SAP applications
• Proven experience working on IT projects
• In-depth knowledge of procure-to-pay processes and solutions
• Business fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural, global organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SRM, MM, or S/4 Central Procurement
• Experience with Jaggaer or other procurement platforms
• Background in IT Project Management or IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Strong interest in new technologies and digital transformation
