IT Business Transformation Lead/Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to develop, track, and implement transformational initiatives
• Identify IT process improvements and resolve operational bottlenecks
• Spearhead operational efficiency efforts by formalizing and streamlining procedures and business processes
• Conduct process reviews, SOP reviews, risk profiles, and SLAs to identify risks and opportunities
• Assist in due diligence and operational reviews to formulate process improvement recommendations
• Prepare and present business cases, findings, and benefits to various business units
• Compile and track departmental priorities and assist staff in developing work plans
• Assist with the design and implementation of disciplined scorecards for productivity, service levels, and quality

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of business experience
• LEAN certification, Six Sigma training, or comparable required
• Proven leadership capabilities and professional communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills
• Experience with project management and work plan development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
• Experience translating business needs to functional requirement specifications for technology
• Change management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Prior experience in a government agency is a plus
