IT Business Systems Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Support the Customer technology platform for Southern Company Gas applications by assessing systems and managing technical issues.
• Elicit requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to develop implementation and project plans.
• Identify technology applications to solve organizational problems and bridge functionality gaps.
• Manage configurations and provide support for application software solutions and enhancements.
• Lead the analysis and evaluation of application functionality to increase utilization of standard features.
• Assist in investment planning, prioritization, and recommending actions to reduce IT costs and organizational risk.
• Coordinate vendor management activities, including RFPs, vendor demonstrations, and budget planning support.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in requirements elicitation, business relationship management, or business analysis.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with business stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for facilitating technical and business discussions.
