About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for business and call center users, diagnosing hardware, software, and application issues.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of end-user devices, including provisioning, reimaging, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication and access issues involving Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Support users in both on-site and remote environments, addressing connectivity, identity services, and device configuration.
  • Manage telephony and communication platforms, including cloud-based phone systems.
  • Document and track incidents and service requests using a ticketing system to maintain operational continuity.
  • Perform hands-on on-site support, including device swaps, peripheral troubleshooting, and audio/visual setup for meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a demanding environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows and Apple desktop environments and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong knowledge of identity and access technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, or Okta.
  • Experience with endpoint security tools and encryption technologies like BitLocker.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network access issues, including VPN and wireless connectivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting contact center platforms such as NICE CXone.
  • Knowledge of automated endpoint imaging, SCCM, and PowerShell for automation.
  • Experience working in ITSM and ITIL-based service delivery environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or ITIL.
