IT Business Relationship Management Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the IT department and business stakeholders to manage application portfolios and product lifecycles.
• Own the relationship between IT and business units, serving as the intersection between technology and user experience.
• Manage vendor relationships, including customer success and product management teams, to align with organizational objectives.
• Define high-quality product requirements and provide feedback to technical staff during all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Oversee 1st and 2nd level application support, managing the resolution of production issues and partner with stakeholders to ensure timely updates.
• Create and maintain key deliverables such as support models, product roadmaps, process documentation, and training materials.
• Partner with technical experts to architect and lead application/business workflow implementations.
• Evaluate the business value of customer requests to prioritize work and ensure benefits justify costs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in relationship management and software development within an enterprise or technical industry.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within an enterprise or technical industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including initiation, planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Advanced experience with enterprise tools and business suites, including hands-on configuration of modules.
• Strong analytical, written, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Business Relationship Manager® (CBRM®) certification.
• BS/BA degree.
